It might not be the best time if year to start barefoot forest hiking (I am always barefooted on the beach) but the frozen toes have been worth the beautiful connection to earth energy.

It is going to take awhile to get used to the lumps and bumps of the trail though. My feet were crazy sore after the first few goes.
